One of the guys on my local forum spotted this and as he commented I would wonder how much drag this would have in the water ?

I have been thinking about a bracket to go onto a screw ball on the gear tracs fitted to my Hobie revo for a side scan sounder further down the track and was going to use flat aluminium plate so as to keep profile as slim as possible.

Looks very neat otherwise and $44 bucks not too expensive for the one that goes stright onto a 1' screwball.

This is pretty good if you have more than one kayak. Can be interchanged easily and adjusted quite quickly.
