I am getting a fishfinder for my kayak soon and im interested if anybody has any opinions on which one they think would be better to mount on a kayak for for fresh and saltwater fishing.

The X4 is a great disposable unit. For 100 bux it gets the job done! Been using it for 3 years. Great on battery life and the size is perfect for a yak as it is compact and out of the way.

Thanks for the input. I went ahead and got the Garmin echo 100 and it is doing great after three trips.
