So, I have some Mighty Bolt shafts that don't have the base on them so I connected two balls together and used that to connect a double socket arm to a dog bone. I inserted the Dog Bone into a flush mount and then installed a rod holder (RAM 340) on the end. I didn't take a picture (I will later). Do you guys think that this is a usable probuct? Does it make sense? I did it to get the rods up off the deck, but I also stumbled onto a way to make a rod holder extention out of the dog bone for the flush mount and GearTrac. Thoughts?

Sounds like another illustration of how versatile the products from YakAttack are. If you already HAVE a DogBone, why not see how many different ways it can be used? :)

I'd like to see that setup.

How tight is the fit? With the weight of a rod & reel on the DogBone, do you think it would want to rotate inside the flush mount?
