Our first event of the year was at Aquia Creek on the potomac and we had a gorgeous day to fish and we had some tanks caught from the river! We even had a little kicker pot for the biggest snakehead caught during the day, which there were several caught. The longest one was measured the entire length of the hawg trough, see picture below!! This was a really nice snakehead! We had 41 anglers at our first event and everybody spent plenty of time trying to figure out the fish and the tides. Our winner was the reigning Angler of the Year, Jed Plunkert! Congrats to Jed! The winner of the YakAttack prize was our second place finisher, Matt Chapman!

Our second event of the year was at Rocky Gorge Reservoir in Maryland. We ended up with a vast array of weather predictions going into tourney day as there were fronts coming and the weather went from no rain and tons of wind to a ton of rain and no wind! We ended up with a bunch of rain while folks were getting ready and for a short time after they launched and then it quit for the day. The fishing gods were looking out for the anglers as well, they decided not to crank up the wind and make it difficult for everybody to deal with. There were some more great fish caught at this event! Due to the varying weather predictions the attendance ended with 29 anglers. Despite the low water levels in the reservoir everybody got after it and the win went to the reigning Angler of the Year again, Jed Plunkert. The winner of the YakAttack prize was Mike Chaney!!

Thanks again for supporting us!! We look forward to more great events as the year rolls on!
